Novak Djokovic’s Eagle Flies Both Day and Night.
There's an eagle amidst the pigeons at Roland Garros and it's Novak Djokovic wearing Sergio Tacchini's newest line. You can't miss the huge wings stretched across Djokovic's shoulders but you might have missed two other little details, read on…
Made especially for the world #3 to reflect his charisma, confidence and attitude, the apparel has me thinking right to Steve Miller Band's "fly like an eagle." A possible theme song here.
The eagle is said to be linked symbolically to the Roman Empire where the line originates as well as the manner in which Djokovic faces his on-court adversaries. The guy likes birds of prey…yesterday a falcon, today the eagle.
The new line comes in blue on white with white shorts for day sessions and black on yellow with black shorts for evening, "Nole" is printed on the back of the shorts just below the waistband and the Serbian flag flies at the hem of the polo.
The line also features a tracksuit and cotton hoodie.
