Dustin Brown Rocks the Topspin in Newport.

Dustin Brown of Jamaica at Campbells Hall of Fame Tennis Championships 2If anyone can bring the men’s sleeveless back to US tennis courts it’s going to be Dustin Brown of Jamaica. Very cool.

To me the sleeveless works really well on a lot of guys. Not the corporate/preppy set but someone with longer hair and more of a Euro, artsy look (the dreads are awesome).

Brown and his game caught my eye in Newport at the Campbell’s Hall of Fame Tennis Championships going on this week.  According to the ATP he is currently ranked 108 in the world.

His apparel sponsor is Topspin, a relatively new tennis brand in the US, but a German performance line Brown has been wearing for almost 5 years. He generally leans to color but pictured here has taken the purist’s approach (well kinda) to grass court tennis.

Brown’s top is a custom sleeveless and the shorts, the Topspin Bermuda, loose fit and comfortable, $34. The company makes a different sleeveless available online (white with black trim and red with black, $34). Give one a try. They are honestly so much cooler in the heat.
