Spotted at a tournament: lululemon’s yoga inspired apparel
Tennis apparel manufacturers look to have some competition from lululemon athletica, outfitter of yoga/fitness enthusiasts. Female tennis players, especially those in the 18s are showing up on court for matches wearing yoga tanks, shorties and skorts that are stylish, comfy and designed to move. The brand has become a must-have with this set of juniors.
These girls have no body woes and love the fact that the close fitting colorful line moves well on court, never binding, riding up or getting in the way. They say it’s fun to wear and like the cotton feel of much of the line’s performance fabric.
lululemon’s strappier tanks are best worn by the not-as-well-endowed because the built in bra is all you can use (its a good one though with cups for coverage and added support). If you are more amply chested you might want to check out their tops that offer a bit more cover. They are longer in length than most tennis tops and offer great tummy coverage when stretching.
The prices? The tanks start at $52, skirts/shorts, $54 and jackets $99.
