Maria Sharapova’s tennis whites. Fashion at Wimbledon 2011.
Maria Sharapova’s tennis designs continue to impress me with their clean lines and unfussy detail. This tennis dress, designed for Wimbledon, is close in style to Sharapova’s Miami dress although she has removed some of the laser cut bronze art-deco detail, and added a tiny collar and bronze embroidered pleating at the bodice. If you’ve got the figure, flaunt it (very short waisted women, the bodice may be long on you). The all performance dress has that lovely feminine corset-like detail without any of of the constriction. The Nike Maria Ace Lawn Dress, as it is called, will run you $125 USD.
Seamless design means nothing distract or irritate the skin. The racer back allows free shoulder movement and the built in bra works well for the not-so-endowed. Check out the dress detail images. Sharapova’s shoes are the Nike Lunarlon Speed3. Bronze highlights pop in classy fashion against the bright white.
If separates are more your thing, check out the pretty top and skort in this group. The tank has the bronze detail ($65) but the corset detail is gone. The gold stitching instead runs across the skort, $65.
