Dream team-supreme with Antigua.
The Phoenix-based Antigua apparel line celebrates their second year in tennis this August, and in 2014 offers an expanded line of women’s apparel with new styles and colors that can be purchased individually or personalized for your team or club.
Antigua has tightened up its clothing specs – rooted in golf — to adapt to tennis’ playing requirements. Still present is their “Desert Dry” fabric that’s moisture-wicking, easy to launder, and travels well.
The pieces are good, classic staples, including the Eclipse Skort, above with polo, and the Blocked Tank, below. For men, the ombre effect in the Power Polo (right) is a subtle way to bring color into your on-court style. Shop the collection at shop.antigua.com. Lots of color choices.
The 35-year-old apparel brand uses their sports licensing expertise to give groups access to custom embroidery for uniforms in team colors. This has also been a good way for tennis clubs and facilities to brand their own merchandise, said Antigua’s President, Ron McPherson.
Antigua returns to the Family Circle Cup in April for its third year of sponsorship. They are the official apparel sponsor for the much loved WTA tournament. Sneak peek here at one of the styles they will be featuring.
