Tennis Identity

Bringing back BOAST.

I’m having a flashback looking at BOAST‘s line up for summer and fall 2014. The brand, whose signature is a Japanese maple leaf, saw a lot of time on the tennis court back in the 70s. BOAST was a tennis staple where I grew up in New England. It’s great to see it back on the scene.

BoastFall2013MensShort_Tennis_White-1024x1024True to its roots, BOAST’s new lines include solid white polos tipped in red and black and SHORT shorts that were de riguer at the country club. Great stuff but I’m truly loving the new colors and designs for guys.

Added bonus: a line of needlepoint accesories by Smathers & Branson, coaster, belts and dog collars that totally bring me back to the days when the identity expressing craft was everywhere from pillows to purses.

Above clockwise L-R, all from Boast: Printed stripes court polo in bright yellow; sleeveless pique polo in fuschia; pleated skort in navy; Vertical striped jersey polo in light blue and red; stripe match short in camel; dog collar; solid twill court jacket in white; tennis coaster set.
