Jelena and Julia fly the Fila flag at the USO

As a Fila Fhanatic (if that's not a term, can it be one now?) from back in the day, (White Line Fila, anyone?) these caught my eye – geometric looks designed to dazzle.

Fila is going bold with Jelena Jankovic & Julia Goerges’ on-court looks at the 2014 US Open. Quirky color combinations and saturated prints are the easiest ways to take risks when it comes to fashion….and this Center Court Collection is anything but traditional. Fila’s design team paired coral, purple, twilight and white to make an appealing combination while using a runway inspired honeycomb print that is both geometric and abstract.

Jankovic's dress takes cues not only from couture's use of honeycomb, but also from an abstract version of a tennis net. The pattern goes from smaller to larger print which provides more interest and dimension to the pattern. The dress has a solid blue back, and a high neck (which is trending in fashion); the hourglass color blocking provides a figure flattering on-court look.

Julia Goerges also will wear styles from Filas' new Center Court collection. The rounded neck and high back is flattering for many figures. The top features an inside bra, body conscious side taping and pops of color on the side panels.

Goerges is pictured wearing the Center Court full coverage tank and skort. The skort is available in mixes of fiery brights. The twilight/purple colorway of the skort has an element of surprise with the ball short….honeycomb print.
