Fila debuted their planned tennis fashions for the 2015 Australian Open at The Legends Ball during the early flurried days of NY Fashion Week. Apropos.

Fila’s upcoming tennis collection is called “Platinum” and features Thermocool fabric, laser-cut no-show seams, reflective detailing and smartly placed media pockets.

Thermocool fabric, the latest in tennis’ advances in keeping players cool, is designed to optimize the body’s natural thermal capabilities through smart fiber cross sections. According to Fila, the body’s temperature is held constant no matter what the conditions with this new fabrication.

Here’s a look at the women’s group:

I assume JJ will wear the dress. The group also comes in a base of white or charcoal with diva pink accents. Have it your way ladies!

And, here’s men’s:

Men are clearly not as fussy about cuts. You can see one of the new-sew media holes on the back left shoulder of the shocking orange crew above. Earphone cords can run from the shorts’ pocket, and inside the shirt keeping the athlete tangle free. You can also see the modernized, reflective FILA logo on this piece.

The color navy power combines beautifully with shocking orange. My shots here do not do justice to the hue. It’s a strong group with a modern feel. How great is that crew, left?
