Nike style for the French Open.
Nike has released images of the gear some of their top players will wear in Paris. (Curiously, no Federer or Serena news..yet.) Items from the summer 2015 NikeCourt collection will be available at select Nike retailers and on nike.com/niketennis beginning May 20.
NADAL: The reigning champion will battle for an historic 10th title in Paris while wearing the Nike Challenger Premier Rafa Crew, Nike Gladiator 7” Printed Shorts and the Nike Lunar Ballistic shoe. His on-court performance wear features a blue gradient, which is a nod to Nadal’s favorite color when competing in Paris. When practicing, Nadal will don a NikeCourt French Stripe Tee and Nike Freestyle shorts. No detail has been missed.
DIMITROV: Aiming for footwear and apparel that equips athletes for on-court performance, practice and off-court sport style Nike has outfitted Grigor Dimitrov with this complete expression of tennis. He will compete on the clay with the Nike Advantage Dri-FIT Cool Polo, practice in the NikeCourt French Stripe Tee and enjoy the sights of Paris in the NikeCourt Polo presented by NikeLab.
SHARAPOVA: The reigning champion of the French clay returns to Paris to defend her title wearing a dress that showcases the quintessentially French Breton stripe in a stylish and performance-driven silhouette. Available soon here.
AZARENKA: After missing the 2014 tournament in Paris due to an injury, Victoria Azarenka will take the court in 2015 in the Nike Advantage Dri-FIT Cool Tank paired with the Nike Victory Printed Skirt and Nike Zoom Cage 2. Available soon here.
