7 Days in Hell: Eternal Flames

Remember the 11-hour+ Isher-Mahut match at Wimbledon that went on for parts of three days back in the summer of 2010? Well, it’s back, in the form of an HBO “mockumentary” called “7 Days in Hell: Eternal Flames.” It pits #128 seed “Aaron Williams” (comedian Andy Samberg) in a 2001 first round Wimbledon match against the #2 seed, his rival “Charles Poole” (Kit Harington of “Game of Thrones” fame.) Loads of tennis cameos.

103-102 in the fifth set? As someone once said, “You cannot be serious!”
