New Balance signs Reilly Opelka

New Balance has signed Wimbledon Juniors Champion Reilly Opelka. Opelka joins Milos Raonic, Heather Watson and Nicole Gibbs in the brand. New Balance will be Opelka’s official apparel and footwear provider on all fronts (competition, training and lifestyle).

At age 17, Opelka (Palm Coast, Florida) is a promising yAmerican tennis talent that has recently raised his profile with strong performances in several marquee events and Junior Grand Slam tournaments. Last December, Opelka captured the title at the Eddie Herr International Championships and achieved his best-ever performance in a Junior Grand Slam with an appearance in the French Open quarterfinals. On Sunday, Opelka won the boys title at Wimbledon. He is coached by Diego Moyano.

“I am super thrilled to join the New Balance team. I’ve known the key people in the tennis division for almost 10 years and they’re like family to me — great people and great products. We’re going to have a lot of fun together” said Opelka.
