The Babolat Jet is ready for takeoff
Is the $200 price point the new normal for hi-tech tennis shoes? We just showed you the new Federer US Open “day” shoe in all its pricey day-glo glory- that will set you back $200. Now Babolat is here with their new “Jet Limited Edition.” This model also costs $200 and is available August 31, exclusively at Mason’s Tennis, NYC.
Before you casually saunter over to Mason’s, know this. Only 140 pairs of these shoes were made (to mark the 140th anniversary of the company.) Each pair of these shoes are numbered and come in a collector’s box. Only 10 pairs are to be released in the US.
Jet Tech Specs: shoe combines these features:
• Upper made with Matryx®, a patented woven textile upper made with Kevlar and ultra-durable Polyamide zoned fibers.
