Tennis Identity

The history of Nike tennis fashion

Share

Nike has come a long way since signing Ilie Nastase as their first pro endorsement. (I’ve yet to ever see a photo of him wearing them, though- Nasty’s a classic adidas guy, though his racquet wasn’t what we thought it was.)

The Nike media site has a great story on the history of their tennis line- definitely recommended reading. All photos below via Nike media. (Click the next image to enlarge.) Which one’s are most memorable for you?
