Federer’s RF Nike Winter Collection
Back in the day (again, kids- ask your parents) tennis pros wore the same gear all year. They might have something new for the US Open, and it was always white at SW19- but otherwise, it was usually the same thing week after week. In the mid-to-late 1970s, Borg rarely wore anything other than the pinstripes. This style made an appearance at the 1977 US Open, but that’s about it.
Fast forward to today, and Nike changes the RF looks for just about every tournament. We’ve got Roger’s winter looks right here. But wasn’t the US Open just a couple of weeks ago?
Santa, are you listening? We’re getting closer to Christmas.
First up, the Nike Men’s Winter Premier RF N98 Jacket. This is a really nice looking jacket available in the two color styles you see here. (Midnight Navy w/Black & White…and White w/Copa & Black.) It features a ribbed inset on back of collar, contrast neck taping, two-way zipper with zipper garage, large RF printed on inside back, bonded zippered side pockets, ribbing at cuffs and back bottom hem, laser cut perforations at underarms, printed RF monogram at right chest, and a printed Nike logo at left chest.
Next, the Nike Men’s Winter Roger V-Neck T-Shirt. I want this too, Santa. Black w/White..Copa w/White..and White w/Midnight Navy. The %100 cotton tee features a ribbed V-neck, large RF logo at left chest, chevron print on back, and a printed Swoosh at left sleeve.
And…the Nike Men’s Winter Premier RF Crew. It features a V-neck, venting at sides and back, ribbed sleeve cuffs, colorblocking, heat transfer RF monogram at left sleeve, and a heat transfer Swoosh at left chest.
Finish off the collection with the Nike Men’s Winter Gladiator Premier 7″ Short..and the Nike Men’s Winter RF Hybrid Hat. Clean and classy- just like the guy who wears it on court. Wouldn’t you look great wearing this behind the wheel of a Benz? After all- “the best is always worth it.”
Watch for Rog in these looks in the final 2015 tournaments. He’s headed for Shanghai, Basel, Paris and London.
