Genie Bouchard: New coach, new styles, new season?

Few high-profile players in recent memory have slumped as badly as Genie Bouchard has this year. 2014 was a very good one for Bouchard; she reached the semis of the Australian and French Opens, and then became the first Canadian to reach a Slam singles final (Wimbledon). The bar was set rather high for an eventful 2015 and the number of magazine covers she graced proved it.

Of course, real life has a habit of getting in the way. Her disastrous 2015 season pre USO was marked by two singles losses in the Fed Cup, 1R losses at the Madrid Open, French Open, TopShelf, Wimbledon, the Rogers Cup, and New Haven.

Things may be changing…

Fast forward to present day, and she’s won her first two matches in New York. She’s taken on some high-profile coaching help as well, in the form of one James Scott Connors. Will he be able to get Bouchard back on track? So far so good. The third round awaits.

Below, check out Bouchard’s just out US Open day (red/white) and night styles by Nike.
