On Thursday night (8/27), stars of the tennis court and kitchen aligned at the 16th Annual Taste of Tennis gala at the W New York. It was the place to be that night. With US Open start day three days away everyone was pretty relaxed and ready to have a good time away from the courts.

Guests including Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman and  Serena Williams, who looked fabulously sporty in a fitted LBD and Nikes. Venus Williams joined in as well  and even showed off her culinary skills by getting in on  a live cooking demo with headlining celebrity chef Marc Murphy.

Also in attendance were the Bryan Brothers, Simona Halep, John Isner, Jack Sock,  Victoria Azarenka, Genie Bouchard, Gael Monfils, Darija Jurak and many prestigious chefs. Check out our photo gallery on our Facebook page.

Food Prep Taste of Tennis

Culinary stations were set up throughout the event for guests to savor dishes from top toques including Jonathan Waxman (Jams), Alfred Portale (Gotham Bar & Grill), Daniel Holzman (The Meatball Shop), Ilan Hall (The Gorbals) to name just a few.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the rehabilitation of Eli Kulp, a beloved Philadelphia-based chef who was paralyzed in a tragic train accident.
