Tennis champion takes a big swing at the tennis market

The 2016 Memphis Open got started today and this year, alongside a strong roster of emerging and marquis talent, is a former ATP world #4 (and 2 time Memphis Open finalist), Robin Söderling. No, he’s not playing again but his growing company RS Tennis is is taking a big swing at the very competitive tennis market.

RS Tennis is a 2016 sponsor of the Memphis Open, the company’s first tournament sponsorship outside of  its home country Sweden. RS Tennis Black Edition balls will be the official tournament ball on court at the Racquet Club of Memphis . The company sponsored the Stockholm Open ATP in 2015.
In 2014 we wrote about RS Tennis’ foray into regulation tennis balls (and a variety of beginner sizes) and  in 2015 we looked at the company’s expansion into string and overgrips.
The Memphis sponsorships signals a big leap forward but distribution in the U.S. is slim to none. Someone grab me a can in Memphis. I am dying to try them.
By the way, all RS-Tennis products are designed with Söderling’s input, the first ATP player to market a tennis  line such as this. Player feedback to date has been very good and know this, players are vocal when they don’t like balls.
Here’s where you can find the string. We’ll let you know when the balls come in at general US retail.
POST UPDATE 2/11/2016: So excited to announce you can now buy these tennis balls in the US in our new SHOP
