Sock, Bouchard to wear NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultrafly

The latest effort from Beaverton continues to push the design envelope- like that’s a surprise with Swoosh. This model also includes a Flyknit ankle collar similar to the NikeCourt Flare we saw last year. The unisex shoe is out on Wednesday, and will be worn by Genie Bouchard and also Jack Sock, who has left adidas and signed with Nike.

“If you were to ask someone what a tennis shoe looks like, they would say that it’s usually made out of leather and pretty wide and boxy on the toe,” says Michael Hui, Nike Senior Designer of Tennis Footwear. “[The NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultrafly] really shatters a lot of those myths.”

Haven’t seen these yet on Tennis Warehouse– stay tuned. Here they are on Nike. $220 the priciest tennis shoe EVAH.
