Spain’s Maria Dolores Lopez Martinez wins Longines Future Tennis Aces Tourney
Maria Dolores Lopez Martinez was crowned the winner of the Longines Future Tennis Aces Tournament on Saturday, May 28 in Paris. The 13 year old beat Kristina Volgapkina from Russia 4:1, 4:2.
The final also included a doubles event with the singles finalists plus tourney patron Arantxa Sánchez Vicario and Kim Clijsters. Sixeen 13 and unders played the Longines-sponsored event for the seventh consecutive year. (See 2015 here.)
