New Balance for Wimbledon 2016, Raonic and Watson

Share

New Balance has rolled out their clean, simple looks for their pro players at Wimbledon. Nothing earth-shattering here style-wise; companies are, as we all know, a bit restricted in their designs when it comes to the All England Club; that pesky predominantly white only rule, y’know. From what we’ve seen so far no one is pushing the proverbial envelope.

Here’s hard-serving Canadian Milos Raonic blasting yet another ace in his NB gear; this is the Men’s Tournament Crew and Men’s Tournament Short.

The 100% poly shirt includes laser perforations under the arms and behind the neck for increased ventilation.

Made with a lightweight nylon seersucker (nice quality touch), this flat-front short features a breathable mesh gusset, reinforced laser perforations, faux fly and slash pockets with mesh bottoms. The shorts are 88% Nylon, 12% Spandex.

Top British women’s pro Heather Watson will take her turn on the grass in New Balance as well.

This is the Women’s Tournament Racerback; deets from New Balance say it “features a mesh neckline and “N” houndstooth burnout mesh to combine femininity and performance.” This is 83% Polyester, 17% Spandex.

The Women’s Tournament Dress offers similar styling. Featuring a laser-cut mesh neckline and a vibrant wet print stripe, made of 83% Polyester and 17% Spandex. Both dresses include a built-in bra.

And the Women’s Tournament Skort is 86% Polyester, 14% Spandex; features include laser perforations, engineered waistband, NB Dry and NB Fresh for breathability and comfort, and a scalloped mesh hemline, that plays shorter and sportier than its 13 inches.

Oops, can’t forget the footwear, which is what NB is known for, of course. Their pros will wear the men’s and women’s 996v2.
