Olympic tennis fashion: Venus goes for the Gold…Red, White & Blue

Share

Sandwiched in between the big Slams of Wimbledon and the US Open is this little ol’ event called the 2016 Rio Olympics. Venus Williams knows a thing or two about The Games, having scored four Gold Medals: Gold in Singles, 2000 Sydney, and a Gold in Doubles, 2000 Sydney, 2008 Beijing, and 2013 London. She could probably win another gold with Harold as her doubles partner.

Below, our first look at what’s coming up for Olympic tennis fashion. Although the Olympic teams do have apparel sponsors, some players compete in their regular sponsors lines.

She will wear this striking special edition EleVen By Venus dress (of her own design) for her fifth Games appearance, which ties Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario for most Olympic appearances by a female tennis player. In this article, she says her outfit inspiration comes from Wonder Woman! Can’t argue with that logic.

Here’s where to find the dress!
