What Maria Sharapova was going to wear at SW19
Maria Sharapova is of course MIA at Wimbledon this summer. [Editorial comment on my part- I think she should’ve gotten a lighter sentence. The drug was legal up til the first of the year. And she self-reported. So she overlooked the email, who doesn’t skip something in their inbox? Give me a break, she’s a positive role model. OK, off my soap box.]
If Maria HAD played Wimbledon, this was going to be her outfit. The Nike Women’s Lawn Premier Maria SW19 Dress.
It features a soft pinhole mesh fabric on upper chest, racerback and underarms, elegant pleated layers in a chevron pattern at the bust and back, rounded bottom hem, and a high density Swoosh at left chest.
Dri-Fit 88% Recycled Polyester, 12% Spandex. White w/Black.
Yes, this would’ve looked fine on the statuesque Russian. (Nike tennis visor sold separately.) But instead, she’s at Harvard Business School, and this probably isn’t part of their dress code.
But that’s not the only option for Maria fans. The Maria Lawn Collection offers the new Nike Women’s Lawn Premier Maria Dress.
The soft performance pique fabric and pleats give this dress a classic feel, while the ribbon fabric insets add feminine flair. This dress also features a racerback for full range of motion, and a high density Swoosh at center chest.
Content: Dri-Fit 92% Polyester, 8% Lyocell. Colors: White w/Black.
