Tennis Identity

Venus’ latest tennis fashions and a look behind the scenes.

Venus Williams

Venus Williams continues to surprise, both on and off the court. The New York Times just did an excellent profile on her and her pair of businesses (more on that in a sec) and she’s wearing a very modern, distinctive EleVen design this week at the U.S. Open, following up her Olympic look earlier in the month.

DeFinitely my favorite design from all of her EleVen looks over the years. (You can see the entire EleVen line here.)

EleVen Women’s Prism Chela Dress

This is the style V wore in her first match. (Shown above and below.) This vibrantly colored,  stylish dress features a v-neck, contrast binding, a cute wrap design, color-blocking, all over sublimated print, lightweight mesh at back for increased ventilation, feminine flowy skirt, and built-in shelf bra. 77% Polyester, 23% Spandex. One color (shown): Prism Print. It reminds me of stained glass.

Earlier in the week, the New York Times did a nice profile on Venus, taking a look at her life and her EleVen and V*Starr interior design business interests.

And when she’s not on the court (or traveling to a tournament)- she’s in the warehouse, packing the product. Hey, when you’re name is on the door, you care a little more.
