Roger Federer – Mr. GQ – Hits the Chanel Show In Paris

What do you do when you’re the GOAT and you’re taking the fall off? Well, hit a few balls to knock the rust off, do a bit of hiking, and visit Paris to check out the latest fashions. Here’s The Fed at the Chanel Spring/Summer 2017 show in Paris today. (with Anna Wintour natch)

GQ breathlessly covered The Event, and they just gushed.

Federer just took his traditional two-piece suit and swapped out the shirt-and-tie for a fine-gauge turtleneck, which is quickly becoming the must-have sweater of the season. And he got extra points for picking a piece of tailoring in a rich, season-appropriate shade of burgundy and picked a sweater that was a similar shade, but not an exact match. This, friends, is called tonal dressing — meaning you’re pretty much wearing the same color but in slightly different shades, to add a little visual interest but it also helps to ensure that you’ll be matching more-or-less as you start piling on those layers. Federer finished things off with a pair of high-shine brogues and some killer shades.

I don’t know about that- but he sure has the James Bond vibe locked in. See you in Melbourne, GOAT!
