Brinke’s Christmas Shopping List 2016
Check out this list for quality gifts for the tennis lover in your life (and maybe you). “These are a few of our favorite things” for men, most of which we covered in 2016; Karin has a list for women coming soon.
Yonex Men’s Stanimal T-Shirt in the U.S.
I don’t use a Yonex and pink isn’t part of my wardrobe, but this is a cool shirt. #Bestnicknameever.
Santa, I’d have to play test it first because racquets are a finicky thing- even if The Man does use it, it’s gotta be a good fit and feel, and I am picky that way. I am sure I’ll love that discreet classy matte black finish. Make mine 4 and 5/8’s L, please.
You have to have a matching bag for your twelve new Federer frames, right? (We previously covered these here.)
The racquet used by young French star Dominic Thiem. I’ve never even seen one of these, but I’d want to at least try one for the cosmetics alone. White with orange. Yes, sir. Or should I say, oui monsieur.
Borg wore one just like it, and that works for me. I wish it came with the large combo F-Box/Bj patch, but you can’t have everything. Unless you’re Federer.
ATP World Tour Men’s Retro T-Shirt in the U.S.
This 100 percent cotton T has the original ATP logo on it with classic retro “ringer” styling. Wore this very shirt back in the day!
Adidas Barricade 2016 Mustachio Men’s Shoe in the U.S.
Retro cool, or…something. Like we said earlier, will look great with a pair of jeans as well as cool on the court.
The Fed shoe in my favorite blue/orange combination. (Previously seen here.) I can’t wear these due to my wide feet, but you can. If you get them shoot me a pic.
A terrific design that was rolled out for the U.S. Open. Wear this while playing with your new Pro Staff RF97 Autograph and Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tours. Yeah, I’m Fed-centric, and I make no apologies for it.
The Fall Z.N.E. Hoodie was previously checked it out here. In case you missed it, it stands for “Zero Negative Energy.” Love the clean spare look of this hoodie.
