Nike releases mini tennis shoe collection for ATP Finals

The year ending Barclays ATP World Tour Finals are underway in London, and it’s the last chance for gear makers to roll out some new merch prior to the Australian in January. For your buying and wearing pleasure, Nike’s got something for ya, even though their marquee guys Fed and Nadal are sitting this one out. Have to say these are pretty cool in an understated way. They compliment Nike’s latest men’s line nicely.

(BTW Here’s what they made up for the women, and here are our favs from their  winter collection of clothing.)

Nike Air Zoom Ultrafly LDN

Break the mold in the Air Zoom Ultrafly from Nike! This unisex shoe features a Flyknit constructed ankle cuff which will provide a snug, comfortable feel around the ankle while the Flywire cable lacing system allows you to cinch down the upper for a personalized fit. Strategically placed Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot offer plush cushioning under foot while a full length shank adds stability and resists unwanted twisting. A lightweight Kurim forefoot wrap over a mesh upper allows for excellent breathability and extra support for lateral movements.

Lastly, the modified herringbone tread pattern is designed for optimal performance on any court surface. Style and performance come together in the Air Zoom Ultrafly! Price is $230 USD, available here.

We recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger than your usual size. Listed in men’s sizes; women should order 1.5 sizes smaller for the equivalent women’s size.

The fit and feel of the Vapor 9.5 Tour remains relatively unchanged from the original Vapor 9 Tour, designed by legendary Nike shoe designer Tinker Hatfield and Federer himself, who wanted a tennis shoe that felt as light and comfortable as a running shoe.
