Bijou’s Goddess line blings luxe style to tennis racquets
We’ve covered luxe tennis fashions over the years, but never luxe racquets. It’s time. Meet Bijou, a new to market luxury tennis racquet brand making racquets unlike any you’ve ever seen before.
Below, Bijou’s Goddess Collection in silver, rose and gold. Each racquet is adorned with over 160 Swarovski crystals inset in the frame. The result? Quite stunning, ultra feminine AND, believe it or not, these racquets are built to play.
Bijou has dared to step away from blazingly bright cosmetics to create a dramatically different look, betting big on tennis players (women) who dress to play on some of the toniest courts around the globe.
So, are they any good? Yes, apparently so.
The graphite frame design and manufacturing is by Sven Goth at ZÜS tennis in Boca Raton, Florida. ZÜS is a boutique tennis racquet manufacturer that makes and sells custom tennis racquets. The crystals are inset and paint applied in New York in a Swarovski approved factory. Each racquet has its own serial number and comes packed in foam to prevent any damage.
Bijou racquets are available in 100 sq. in. frames in grip sizes 4 1/4 and 4 3/8. They come with a drawstring ultra-suede dust bag (like any expensive handbag) and are strung with natural gut strings. The cost? $1250.00 USD. A VERY nice Valentine’s Day gift for a tennis goddess.
