Tennis Identity Exclusive: The Lacoste Look For Wimbledon

Share

Tennis Identity is happy to be the first to bring you these new (other than Djokovic) images for the Lacoste Wimbledon line. Just classic white, as it should be.

What I love about Lacoste this go round is that the apparel could be right out of a tennis time capsule style wise. If you made any of these photos into black and white, you’d be in the 1960s, with the same style, am I right? I’m not talking about all of the performance upgrades, of course. Almost no one plays high level tennis in 100% cotton anymore.

Ladies, first. Note that not all of these styles may yet be available, but they will be! Find it: TW/USATW/Europe

Christina McHale

Christina and Domi are wearing the Women’s Sport Tennis Dress. A sleek tank style upper with dropped waist knife pleated skirt. Gorgeous. Specs? Sure- made of 91% polyester, 9% Elastane- a breathable, Ultra-Dry technical stretch jersey with racerback design and Lacoste print, built-in bra, and 50+ UV protection for the hot London sun.

Alizé Cornet

Alizé wore orange in her strong Paris showing, but no orange in this outfit- this is Wimbledon after all. Cornet is wearing the Lacoste Stretch Petit pique’ Polo and Sport Light Technical Knit Pleated Tennis Skirt. No, she won’t have the orange Nikes. Polo details: It’s made of 94% cotton and 6% Elastane. It wears as a slim fit and is a sleeveless stretch cotton petit piqué with five-button placket.

The skirt is lightweight, breathable Ultra-Dry technical knit, with zip fastening on the side, built-in shorts, and green Crocodile transfer branding…100% polyester.

Novak Djokovic

This is The Djoker’s signature logo look for SW19, the “Exclusive Green Edition,” and this is available right now. Djoker’s shirt is a Ultra Dry jersey with unicolor three-button collar, printed green crocodile on chest, Djokovic logo on the left sleeve, and Lacoste logo on right. Find it: TW/USA

And this is the Lacoste Men’s Novak Djokovic Transparent Jacket. What, you thought it was going to be navy or red? Lightweight with modern styling, this Lacoste ND Transparent Jacket is perfect for the season. This translucent shell of this jacket reveals the inner mesh lining. This jacket also features a hood with green inner binding, drawcord for the hood, full-zip entry, zippered side pockets for secure storage, elastic cuffs, open bottom hem with adjustable bungee, reflective Lacoste logo at back, Novak’s logo at left sleeve, and a Lacoste Croc at left chest.

The rest of the guys on Team Lacoste will be sporting the Men’s Sport Ultra Dry Raglan Sleeve Tennis Polo and the Super Sport Super Dry Drawstring Tennis Shorts. Because classics, and super ones at that, never go out of style.

The shirt details: short sleeve (obviously) with a three-button collar, raglan sleeves, Ultra Dry fabric, and a regular fit. The shorts are 100% polyester, with a breathable, flowing fabric, two side pockets, and (of course) green Crocodile branding.
