Roger Federer and Madison Keys | New Nike Tennis Shoes For 2018
We’re getting closer to the first Slam of the new year, and that means the new gear!!! Nike, as usual, is making a splash with a new version of its flagship shoe. The NikeCourt Vapor X is below and it’s out on December 23. [Update: Find it for men: TW/USA • TW/Europe and women: TW/USA • TW/Europe]. (Note that there are other color styles available, too!) Nike notes that Madison Keys first demoed this style back in March. She preps her match shoes with four-five days of practice, so the shoes get “stretched out in the places that I need them to be stretched out.”
“I put it on and I hit in it, it was like, ‘Yeah, these are great. I would love to wear these during matches. It feels more flexible. -Madison Keys

Nike also says “just like with earlier models, don’t be surprised if any special editions pop up.” Uh-HUH.
