Tennis’ Latest Racquet Launch Gets Radical
Just in time for those looking for the latest/greatest in tennis racquets to gift, HEAD has released the new Graphene Touch Radical racquet series that offers a beautifully balanced combination of power, control and spin for the versatile all-court player. No shot you can’t play.
Have to admit, I’m in love. The Radical MP I got to try came packed as above. Christmas came early here at Tennis Identity. We’ll be adding the Radical Challenge video we create here as soon as its ready.
The new series also includes Radical and Pro Radical S models. Find links to details and stats on all the racquets below:
98 sq. in., 11 oz strung, 16/19 string pattern (intermediate level player)
98 sq. in, 11.5 oz strung, 16/19 string pattern (intermediate to advanced level player)
102 sq. in, 10.4 oz strung, 16/19 string pattern (intermediate that likes a lighter stick)
Note that there are no oversized heads in the group.
I love the vibrant new orange and navy graphics. Matte paint gives the frame a cool, modern feel. Andy Murray is featured on the packaging. I’ll keep my overgrip white to match the lettering. The upside-down logo represents the stick’s versatility.
Thanks to the introduction of the innovative Graphene Touch technology, the RADICAL PRO series offers power, incredible touch and a solid dampened feel – those with any joint issues will appreciate the notable comfort. The MP frame was super easy to manage on court, strong from the baseline and transitioning well to crisp volleys at the net. It is my stick of choice at the moment.
