Like Rafa, Maria, Serena and Novak, Roger Federer will wear one look for day and one for night at the US Open. Usually it's just a color change that makes the difference in the am/pm changes.This year, however, Roger will change color AND shirt silhouettes.
I know...rock my world, but it is different for Roger who is fairly tame with his styles. For the last few years Roger has steadily worn white, red, blue or grey for Slams and he does not break from that trend in '11 NY.
Day, Federer will wear a seamless bright sport red crew, $75 USD; night, a more serious, very city grey polo, $80. Only the thin red racing stripe down the back and on the collar alludes to the intense energy being expended on court (see shirt under video).

Here's the night shirt: It's handsome and would look great with black or white shorts (the challenger men's short goes with these shirts, $50).
Roger will wear the polo with the same anthracite grey shorts striped with red but he's Roger and can do stuff like that. An inset pic of the shirt back is right.
Federer's tennis shoes are the Nike Lunar Vapor 8, $120. Stealth looking. Lightweight for Roger's dancing feet.
