Nike has unveiled Roger Federer's night look at the Australian Open. Above is the zip-placket Premier RF Polo in Stadium Grey. Hot Daddy; love the pink accents at the neck and shoes! His day style looks to be a base of turquoise blue, $90 USD.
Interestingly, for the past five years, Federer's Slam fashions have been only been a very similar grey, light blue, dark blue, red or white. Ok, right, red stripes on red at that one Slam, whoo hoo. Here's another. Superstition, RF choice or man/consumer driven? My guess is marketplace.
The shots of pink in the 2013 look are not unlike the cyber doses in his look at Roland Garros last year. The brights deviate ever so slighly from Fed's tailored cuts and do add an element of modernity to the traditional styling.
Keep in mind that the technology under the styles does keep evolving despite the color constants.
Juan Martin Del Potro will also wear stadium grey. I do like grey a lot; not a Daddy, but hot just the same. Pictured is the Nike Rib Crest Crew, $60. The very simple aesthetic is highlighted by a raised V-neck design and ribbing on the shoulders. His shoes are the Nike Air Max Cage, $115.
Ok our boys ARE handsome but I am soooo missing Rafa who ALWAYS rocks my visual world. The shirt left is what he would have worn.
