USTA Player development continues to add to its roster of Regional Training Centers. New dev. programs include Five Seasons Sports Club of Northbrook, Ill. and The Smiths in Indianapolis, Ind., bringing the total number of USTA Certified Regional Training Centers to 17.
Above Tim Smyczek plays a point at the Challenger of Dallas tourney at T Bar M Racquet Club which has renewed its contract with the USTA training program. Smyczek has trained within the USTA program in Boca Raton, Florida.
Other noteable players using USTA training centers include: Sam Querrey, Rhyne Williams (who won the Dallas tourney Saturday), Denis Kudla, Steve Johnson, Jack Sock and Bjorn Fratangelo.
"As we continue to see positive results out of players who train at USTA Certified Training Centers, we are excited to be working collaboratively with these programs and their coaches to develop future American tennis stars," said Patrick McEnroe.
