H&M Sport has created a new men's tennis apparel collection timed to coincide with the Australian Open. The group is inspired by the clothes that Tomas Berdych will wear on-court in Melbourne. Berdych is an official H&M Sports ambassador.
The handsome new tennis fashions were created with input from Tomas so functionality and performance are at the heart of the design. Color blocked and striped shirts have a retro seaside feel, perfect for the start of the Australian summer.
We like the look of it but have yet to touch it ourselves.
The tops combine piqué with a mesh back section for optimum ventilation. The shorts are made of light, breathable, fast-drying fabric, with specially developed, mesh-lined pockets for easier storage of tennis balls. As with most everything at H&M, the price is right ($24.95 for a shirt).
The new tennis sports collection is now available online and in H&M stores worldwide. -- Karin Burgess
