Modo and USTA Team Up to Offer US Open Sunglasses Designed for the Court

Modo eyewear and the USTA have teamed up to introduce these officially licensed US Open competition sunglasses just in time for the 2010 tournament.

The lightweight style is unisex and comes in US Open blue (a bright navy). High chromatic definition lenses provide natural color contrast that is said to improve reaction time and increase visibility of the ball. I had no problem seeing the ball in these. An anti-reflective coating does reduce reflections and improves comfort in bright conditions. US Open flaming balls adorn the frame discreetly.

Watch for these babies on US Open line judges and chair umps. I'm told they are getting these Modos with their uniforms. I wonder what outfitter RL thinks about that?

The new frames come boxed in a hard, zip closure carrying case. A tennis court print on the cleaning cloth is a nice touch, $89 USD.

New Women's Line from Oakley. Great Choice for On Court Sun Protection.
