Australian Open 2018 Winners Recap

And so we bid farewell to the Australian Open, scene of some exciting tennis over the last couple of weeks. Besides Roger Federer’s 20th Grand Slam singles title, there were other big winners, starting off with Caroline Wozniacki’s epic defeat of Simona Halep for the Women’s Singles title. She also returns to the #1 ranking in the world (six years to the day since she was last #1), not a bad bonus.

Also of note: Dylan Alcott won his fourth straight Wheelchair Men’s Singles title! The next big event for the men and women will be the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, March 5.
