Serena Williams Stars In New Film To Celebrate Diversity Of Women
Throughout her career, Serena Williams has used sport as a platform for progress. It’s no surprise that with Serena’s return to the court for her first tour-level match this week at Indian Wells, she is using the moment to once again stand for equality.
I want people to understand there is no wrong way to be a woman. We shouldn’t be made to feel like we have to act a certain way because we are women and we shouldn’t be made to feel like we need to fit into the same box. We are all different and we should celebrate those differences. -SW
That thought is reflected in a new film, “Until We All Win,” that recognizes International Women’s Day (this Thursday, March 8) and features Serena. it debuted last night during the Academy Awards:
